  • Thaw the puff pastry sheets for 30 mins and then cut them lengthwise.
  • Wash the strawberries and remove the leaves. Cut them into thin slices lengthwise.
  • Melt chocolate chips with a teaspoon of butter on a double boiler. Melt them until they glistened.
  • Spread the melted chocolate over the puff pastry sheet completely.
  • Arrange the strawberry slices on one edge and spread a few of them on the other end.
  • Fold the pastry sheet towards inside and then roll them to make rosettes. Spread the pastry sheet a little.
  • Place in a muffin tin and bake at 350 F for 20- 25 mins. Cool and serve with some fresh strawberries.

  • Thawing the puff pastry sheet is very important. Do not use them while they are still frozen. This will result in uneven cooking and not flaky puffs.
  • If you have pastry shells, you can also do the same with them .
  • I have used dark chocolate chips in this recipe. You can also add milk chocolate or white chocolate in this recipe.
  • Instead of chocolate chips, you can also melt chocolate bars if you have them.
  • Always use double boiling method to melt the chocolate.
