HARIYALI PANEER CURRY

Paneer is a favorite ingredient for many from kids to adults. There are many recipes with paneer that are tasty. We tasted this specific Paneer curry in a restaurant. Normally, Hariyali Paneer tikkas are served in many restaurants. But this was more like curry and perfect for phulkas. It is very tasty and subtle in its flavor with a blend of fresh herbs. Ingredients
  • 1 cup Paneer Cubes
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Onions
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Tomatoes
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 dash Salt
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Panchporan (Substitute with jeera seeds )
  • 1/2 stick Lemon
  • For making Hariyali Paste
  • 1 cup Coriander Leaves
  • 1 cup Mint Leaves
  • 1 tsp Chopped Ginger
  • 5 stick Garlic
  • 2 stick Green Chilli
Instructions
  1. Make a green paste with coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilli, ginger, and garlic. Make a paste with 1/4th cup of water.
  2. Add oil to a pan. When hot, add panchporan and wait till it splutters. Add chopped onions, tomatoes until soft. Add spice powders with salt. cook covered for 2 mins until raw smell goes off. add the grounded green paste.
  3. Let the curry cook until a rolling boil stage. Add paneer when raw smell of the herbs goes. Let it cook for 3-4 mins.
  4. Turn off stove and squeeze lemon to it. Serve with rotis and phulkas.
