- 0.25 tsp Vanilla Essence
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 tsp Butter
Instructions
- In a flat bowl, add one tablespoon of cornflour and a pinch of salt. Add a quarter teaspoon of cinnamon powder and condensed milk.
- Take 200 ml of cold milk in a bowl. Add quarter teaspoon of vanilla essence to the milk. Stir it for a while. Add milk to the cornflour and whisk to avoid lumps. Let it sit for 2 mins.
- Dip the bread slice into the cornflour - milk mixture
- Grease the cast iron pan with butter. Add the soaked bread slices and cook on low flame. Let it cook for 3 mins. Flip over to the other side and cook. Serve with maple syrup or powdered sugar.
Recipe Notes
- I have used multi-grain bread for this. You can also use any variety of bread you like.
- Instead of condensed milk, you can add a teaspoon of regular sugar.
- Do not use hot milk for this recipe, it will absorb a lot of milk and makes the bread soggy.
