If you are a South- Indian, Idlis must be your staple food. The taste of any well made Idli raises when it is paired with a delicious Chutney or Sambar. If the tasty chutney turns out to be healthy too, its a bonus. Coconut chutney is an easy one and can be made with a lot of variation. In this chutney, I have used roasted sesame seeds along with grated coconut in this recipe. Sesame seeds are rich in Iron and the addition of lemon juice increases the absorption of Iron. Do try out this healthy coconut chutney and enjoy with hot Idlies or dosas.

- I have used white sesame seeds in this chutney. You can replace with black sesame seeds too. This might result in a variation in the color of the chutney.
