Payasam and kheers are a part of many Indian festivals. Even if it is a special occasion like a Friday pooja, payasams are offered as prasadam/ offering to the deity. When there is a packet of biscuits that you are bored with eating, transform it to this Biscuit payasam in a jiffy, and enjoy a new transformed dish. You can use any variety of biscuits to make this except the savory varieties or the ones containing ajwain/ Omam. Do try this simple and easy payasam for any offerings.

Notes
- Do not use biscuits with savory taste in it. This will spoil the payasam.
- Do not add the biscuits to a fine powder. This will create lumps once added to the milk.
- Adjust the sugar levels according to the sweetness of your biscuits. My biscuits were sweet enough and hence I added only one tablespoon of sugar.
- If you like the smell of rose essence, you can add it at the end after switching off the flame.
