Desserts are most loved part of the meal for many. From pastries, to kheer and ice creams, many people fall for it. However, most of them are made with refined sugars and it is hard to enjoy them without guilt. How about some fresh and easy dessert that can be made under 5 mins, that can be enjoyed with out any guilt. Then this is a must try. Though I am not a big fan of desserts, I fall for yogurt. Yogurt is a must part of my meal. When this tasty yogurt becomes a dessert, it is a bonus. I make this yogurt barks, for a quick and healthy dessert with berries. Try this guilt- free , sugar -free very berry yogurt barks and enjoy them on a hot summer day or to satisfy your sugar cravings.

  • In a bowl, add one tablespoon oof honey. To this add one cup of greek yogurt along with half a teaspoon of vanilla essence. Whisk them until they are soft and creamy.
  • Transfer them to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spread them to a thin layer and arrange the berries to it.
  • Freeze for 4- 6 hrs and cut them into barks. Serve chilled.


  • I have used greek yogurt to make this. You can strain the regular yogurt in a strainer and make a hung curd. Then follow other steps.
  • Instead of honey, you can also use a tablespoon of maple syrup.
  • I have used berries for this. You can also use toasted nuts, coconut or fruit purees to make this yogurt barks.
